Retreat 2011 - the details

We would love you to join us for a weekend of relaxation & scrapping in a beautiful country setting. Retreat to Main Creek features 2 very large comfortable recreation rooms in which to scrap, as well as a fully self contained cottage in which to sleep! We will also be fully catered for all of our meals by gourmet cook & host, Marion. Those who attended last year will remember how wonderfully we were looked after – the food was awesome!!!

When: Friday 18th March until Sunday 20th March 2011
Where: Retreat to Main Creek, 877 Main Creek Rd, Via Dungog
Full weekend includes 2 nights accommodation at the Bower Cottage, dinner Fri night, breakfast & morning tea Sat & Sun, Lunch Sat & Sun, afternoon tea Sat & Sun, dinner Sat night
Cost: $250 ($225 for campers & mattresses on the floor)

At this stage there will be no formal classes at the retreat.
A product pack will be provided with some optional challenges which I hope you will all join in for the chance to win some prizes.
the rest of the weekend is freestyle scrapping!!! So come along and do as many pages as you can!
All you need to bring are your photos, and as many scrapping materials as you can fit in your car!
There will be scrap products available for you to purchase if you wish. We are lucky enough to have our very own scrap shop at the retreat, supplied by Peta from Scrapbooking From Scratch. If you are needing particular items, you should contact Peta or I in advance so your specific order can be arranged.
A non-refundable deposit of $50 will be required when booking, to secure your place.
Please note that there will be a maximum of 19 places available, and those booking the full weekend will be given preference.

Album pre-order

If anyone wishes to purchase albums for the retreat, you will need to pre-order them through Peta & Scrapbooking from Scratch.

They are the beautiful We are Memory Keepers Classic Leather and come in a variety of colours. They are high quality made and come with 10 page protectors included.

Tentative Timetable

Here is a run down on the timetable for the retreat so far......I reserve the right to make changes at any time!!

Friday - arrival anytime after 3pm
Friday night class - using Sass Lass
Sat morning class - Blind challenge with Peta using crate paper
Sat afternoon class - using October Afternoon Be merry (yes, get some christmas photos organised!)
Sunday morning - surprise challenge using the scraps from your class kits!

Of course in between all this there will be lots of scrapping, chatting, laughing, drinking, eating, more eating and challenges along the way!

Stocking up!

Today I had so much fun shopping for the class packs and stock for the retreat, you are all going to love it!!! I will be able to show you some sneaks of the class kit colours very soon....

Now that we are officially booked out I really need you all to pay your deposit (if you haven't already!) and I will need everyone to have paid $130 by the 15th of Feb. I have to start paying our venue and for the scrap goodies :)
